Shurat HaDin Investigates & Exposes Threats in South Africa

Following the discovery of a suspicious explosive device near a Jewish community facility in Cape Town, Shurat HaDin conducted an independent, in-depth investigation to identify those responsible and assess broader security implications. The findings were formally documented and transmitted to senior officials across South Africa’s security and law-enforcement apparatus, including the South African Police Service, Crime Intelligence, and national prosecutorial authorities, as well as to international law-enforcement and intelligence counterparts, Jewish communal security organizations, and relevant diplomatic and governmental stakeholders. We will not allow the anti-Israeli policies of the South African government to intentionally ignore or brush this dangerous attack on Jews under the rug. By ensuring that the investigation reached decision-makers at the highest levels, Shurat HaDin maximized the likelihood of accountability, prevention, and coordinated response.
